Gina and I are happy to announce that the 2018 Dahlia's for Dummies has officially kicked off! It all began a little over two months ago when my colleague Molly and her husband offered some bamboo from her yard. I'll be using it to build a structure for the flowers to grow through this weekend. In late May I started breaking ground on our new flower beds and we finished planting on June 6. After a little over two weeks in St. Louis for General Assembly I came home to Dahlia's beginning to break through the ground. As you can see they're really starting to take off! This year we ordered from Swan Island Dahlias.
